We are a youth group with a mission to better equip the next generations of Christians. Our main issue, is that we are in war for our soul, and it is our job as a soldier to stand up and fight for salvation.!
We have been fighting a spiritual war since the beginning of time. This war touches all of us. We have been waging this war against Satan and his evil schemes. The external part of the war has already been won! Jesus defeated Satan at the cross! Now we must fight the war on an internal battlefield. The way to win this war is to have Jesus as your Savior, believe whole-heartedly in Him, and to live your life according to His teachings. You will get scared but as you listen to the Word of God, faith will displace fear, and courage will take you through each battle. For you know, really knowing God and His Word is total truth. Your salvation is worth fighting for! You need to understand clearly, we're in a war, whether you like it or not!
So stand up and be counted! Put on the full armor of god!
Eph 6:11-18
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
If you have already accepted the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord, you have already been enlisted! Now just think about whether you are Active Duty (24/7), in the Reserves (Christmas and Easter), or AWOL (Absent Without the Lord).
